The Informatics Management (MI) Study Program at Sriwijaya University has made various innovations to implement technological advances. This study aims to design and develop a multimedia-based profile video for the Informatics Management Study Program at Sriwijaya University as an information and promotional media. The method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of six stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The profile video was developed by combining various multimedia elements such as video, audio, text, animation, and transitions to convey information in an interesting, informative, and communicative way. The final video is ± 4 minutes 30 seconds long, showing history, vision-mission, facilities, academic and non-academic activities, as well as testimonials from students, lecturers, and alumni. Based on the survey results, the assessment of 32 respondents stated that the profile video of the informatics management study program at Sriwijaya University was interesting, informative and communicative as a medium for information and promotion of the study program to the wider community and prospective new students.
