Introduction: Mycobacterium tuberculosis is the primary bacterium causing the infectious disease known as Pulmonary Tuberculosis. One of the impacts of Pulmonary Tuberculosis is ineffective airway clearance, necessitating nursing actions to address this problem. The actions taken include a collaborative approach of administering analgesics combined with non-pharmacological therapy, one of which is drinking warm water and chest physiotherapy. The writing of this case study aims to apply nursing care for patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis to perform airway management interventions by providing warm water and chest physiotherapy to address sputum clearance barriers based on evidence. Method: The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach involving 3 patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis. Results: There were 6 nursing problems identified in patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis, with the primary nursing problem being ineffective airway clearance. Discussion: The non-pharmacological interventions provided to expel retained sputum in this case study included drinking warm water and chest physiotherapy. Providing warm water and chest physiotherapy can help expel sputum because warm water can help to thin the sputum, making it easier to expel from the airways, and chest physiotherapy supports the mobilization of secretions that enhance ventilation, thus clearing the airways. Conclusion: The provision of warm water and chest physiotherapy is effective in expelling sputum retained in patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis. Keywords: Ineffective Airway Clearance, Chest Physiotherapy, Drinking Warm Water, and Pulmonary Tuberculosis. Reference List: 54 (2020-2025)
