PERBANDINGAN PERLAKUAN ISOLASI DAN NON ISOLASI TERHADAP UMUR PEMAKAIAN DYE SENSITIZED SOLAR CELL (DSSC) DENGAN EKSTRAK TUMBUHAN SENDUDUK (Melastoma malabathricum)
Dye sensitized solar cells (DSSC) are dye-based solar cell devices that can convert solar energy into electrical energy. The dye used in this study was using extracts of fruits, flowers and sensit leaves which used a comparative treatment between insulation, non-isolation and non-isolation with the addition of one iodine. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of storage on the shelf life of Dye Sensitizer Solar Cell using sensit plant extracts with isolation and non-isolation treatment. The research will be carried out from January 2023 to June 2023 at the Energy and Electrification Laboratory and the Biosystems Laboratory of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The research method uses a descriptive method with research stages including Measurement of absorbance of fruits, flowers and seated leaves, Measurement of Current and Voltage, Power calculation, Fill Factor Measurement, In isolation treatment is better and lasts longer with the length of use of fruit for 6 days, flowers for 7 and leaves for 5 days compared to non-isolation has decreased significantly with a span of time only at most 4 days.
