UPAYA DIPLOMASI INDONESIA DALAM PENETAPAN BUDAYA SEHAT JAMU SEBAGAI WARISAN BUDAYA TAK BENDA UNESCO TAHUN 2023
ABSTRACT Spices are one of Indonesia's many natural resources that must be preserved from time to time. One of its uses is by making herbal medicine as a traditional Indonesian medicine. In order not to be claimed by other countries, one of the efforts that has been made from 2013-2023 by the government is to make a claim to UNESCO to make herbal medicine an intangible cultural heritage in 2023. In this study, the researcher used the theory of multi-track diplomacy using 5 of the 9 tracks including government, non-governmental organizations, citizens, education, and mass media. In this study, the researcher used a literature study by obtaining secondary data obtained from websites, documents, journals and sources from books. The temporary analysis in this study is the efforts made by Indonesia, including the involvement of the government and its representatives such as the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other government organizations that were involved second; the involvement of NGOs as the main initiator of submitting herbal medicine to UNESCO, third; the involvement of various elements of society such as herbal medicine makers, herbal medicine communities, spice sellers and experts in research who are also involved in data collection, fourth; education as an institution for conducting further research and mass media as a tool for forming public opinion..
