PENGARUH BEBAN KERJA DAN JOB INSECURITY TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN DEPARTEMEN PRODUKSI DI PT SRI TRANG LINGGA INDONESIA
Workload and job insecurity are important factors that need to be managed well, because they can affect employee performance. This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of workload and job insecurity on the performance of Production Department employees at PT Sri Trang Lingga Indonesia. This research was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods. The sampling technique used incidental sampling with a total sample of 72 respondents, employees of the Production Department of PT Sri Trang Lingga Indonesia. Data was obtained through distributing questionnaires using a 1-5 Likert scale. The analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis techniques to determine the relationship between variables. The results of this research show that partially workload and job insecurity have a negative and significant effect on the performance of Production Department employees at PT Sri Trang Lingga Indonesia. The implication of these findings is that company need to evaluate work systems and division of tasks periodically to ensure workload remains within optimal limits. In addition, company can increase openness of communication and information and provide training to help employees better adapt to change and foster a sense of security.
