Background: The increasing prevalence of mental disorders is a crucial health issue. Individual failure to cope with predisposing and precipitating factors with appropriate coping strategies will worsen mental status. This process may lead to schizophrenia with symptoms of auditory hallucinations, resulting in disorted reality perception and loss of self-control, which then cause disorientation of reality and loss of self-control, potentially posing a safety risk to patients, others, and the environment. One of the non-pharmacological therapies that can be applied to reduce signs of hallucinations is music therapy, which aims to relieve anxiety and stress, encourage feelings of relaxation and relieve depression. Objective: The purpose of writing this report is to provide an overview of nursing care for patients with sensory perception disorders: auditory hallucinations through the application of music therapy. Method: This scientific paper uses a case study approach with a qualitative descriptive methods. Results: After the implementation of the implementations strategy (SP) together with music therapy, there was a decrease in the AHRS score of hallucination symptoms: Mr. R scored 30 (severe) to 18 (moderate), Mr. J scored 29 (severe) to score 13 (moderate) and Mr. M scored 31 (severe) to score 15 (moderate). Changes in symptoms include a decrease in the frequency of hallucination, increased cooperation, increased eye contact, greater social interaction, active participation in ward activities, and improved control over hallucinations. Discussion: A decrease in auditory hallucination symptoms can occur through music therapy to provide relaxation to the mind, improve, restore, maintain the physical, mental, social, and emotional health of the patient. These affect self-development and cure psychosocial disorders, especially auditory hallucinations.
