ANALISIS EFISIENSI DAN KEUNTUNGAN INDUSTRI KERTAS DAN BARANG DARI KERTAS (ISIC : 17) DI INDONESIA
The paper and paper goods industry is one of the country's foreign exchange earning industries from the non-oil and gas sector which has a positive impact in providing employment opportunities and encouraging national economic growth, the raw materials used come from Indonesian Plantation Forests. This research aims to determine the level of profit, efficiency, and the relationship between profit and efficiency in the paper and paper goods industry. The data used is time series data for 6 years (2015-2020). The profit analysis uses a quantitative method using Price Cost Margin (PCM), the efficiency analysis uses the parametric Stochastic Frontier Approach (SFA) method, and the analysis of the relationship between profits and efficiency uses the correlation test. The research results show that profits for the paper and paper goods industry have an average value of 0.42, which can be categorized as the industry's profit level being moderate. The efficiency of the paper and paper goods industry has an average of 0.99, which can be categorized as an efficient industry. Meanwhile, the results of the correlation test estimates show that the profits and efficiency of the paper and paper goods industry do not have a correlated relationship.
