HUBUNGAN ANTARA NEWS MEDIA LITERACY DENGAN KEPERCAYAAN POLITIK PEMILIH PEMULA
This study aims to determine the relationship between news media literacy, news media system knowledge, need for cognition, and media locus of control with political trust in first-time voters. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between news media literacy, news media system knowledge, need for cognition, and media locus of control in first-time voters. The population in this study is first-time voters, where the research sample is 235 first-time voters and 50 first-time voters for try out. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The research measuring tool uses a political trust scale that refers to the political trust dimention from Loeber (2011) and a news media literacy scale that refers to the news media literacy dimention from Maksl, et al.
