ANALISIS PENGARUH PRESSURE PADA GAS SF6 SEBAGAI MEDIA ISOLASI TERHADAP KINERJA PEMUTUS TENAGA (PMT) DI GARDU INDUK SUNGAI JUARO
SF₆ gas (sulfur hexafluoride) is widely used as an insulating and arcquenching medium in high-voltage equipment such as Circuit Breakers (CB) due to its superior dielectric properties. However, the quality of this gas can deteriorate due to environmental and operational factors. This study aims to evaluate the quality of SF₆ gas in CBs based on three main parameters: pressure, dew point, and moisture content. Pressure is measured using a pressure gauge and absolute pressure, then compared with manufacturer standards. Dew point and moisture content are measured using a moisture analyzer in accordance with IEEE 1125 standards, with a maximum limit of 200 ppmv. The analysis is conducted using the FMEA method to identify potential failures such as leakage and high humidity, as well as ANOVA to test the differences between CB bays. ANOVA results of 99.357, 691.343, and 128.481 with an F-table value of 3.106 indicate that the null hypothesis is rejected for all parameters, indicating significant differences between CBs, especially in gas pressure. Some extreme values, such as a pressure of 4 bar,are suspected to be caused by weather fluctuations and microscopic leaks. FMEA recommends visual inspections, leakage evaluations, and routine monitoring. The dew point and moisture content results show significant differences but remain within safe limits. This study emphasizes the importance of regular monitoring and maintenance to ensure system reliability at the Sungai Juaro Substation. Keyword: SF6 gas, Circuit breaker, Pressure, FMEA, ANOVA
