In the current era of electrification, the continuity of electricity distribution from power generation to consumers has become crucial. The reliability of the distribution system at the feeder level serves as an important indicator in assessing the quality of service provided by electricity suppliers. This study aims to analyze the reliability of the Beo Feeder at the Seduduk Putih Substation using the Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) method and simulation with ETAP 19.0.1 software, as well as to determine the impact of adding a recloser and a combination of recloser and sectionalizer on the feeder through a reliability assessment simulation in ETAP 19.0.1. The reliability indices analyzed include SAIFI, SAIDI, and CAIDI, which are compared to the SPLN 2011 and IEEE P1366-2003 standards to determine whether the feeder is classified as reliable or unreliable. The analysis results show that under existing conditions, the SAIFI, SAIDI, and CAIDI values using the FMEA method are 1,387260; 2,338064; and 1,681523, respectively. Meanwhile, the simulation using ETAP software produced SAIFI, SAIDI, and CAIDI values of 1,5633; 2,7800; and 1,7778,respectively. After the addition of a recloser, the values became 1,3029; 2,6512; and 2,035, respectively. Furthermore, with the addition of both a recloser and sectionalizer, the values improved to 1,1117; 2,3410; and 2,106. These results indicate that the Beo Feeder is categorized as an unreliable feeder and that the addition of protection devices can improve the reliability of the distribution system.
