DINAMIKA N-TOTAL DAN P-TERSEDIA TANAH PADA LAHAN PASCA TERBAKAR
Forest and land fires occurred in Rimau Sungsang Village, Banyuasin II District, Banyuasin Regency in 2023. The forest and land fires were influenced by the long dry season due to the El Nino phenomenon. Forest and land fires are one of the environmental problems that often occur and are considered important so that they become a local and global concern. Fires also have an impact on reducing soil N-total and P-availability. When organic matter in the soil is burned out, P-availability decreases. The purpose of this research is to study and investigate the dynamics of soil N-total and P-available in post-fire land. This research was conducted from December 2023 to January 2024. The experiment was conducted using a Randomized Group Design (RAK). The method used in this research is a detailed survey method with a scale of 1:10,000 and supported by the results of laboratory analysis. The results of this research showed that there was a decrease in soil N-total and P-available on burned land, the dynamics of soil N-total and P-available content on post-burned land were influenced by planting and age of oil palm.
