Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media video pembelajaran berbasis model contextual teaching and learning pada materi siklus air kelas V di SDN 129 Palembang dan juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan serta kepraktisan dari media tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 3D + I terdiri dari Define, Design, Development, dan Implementation. Penelitian ini melakukan validasi materi dan media serta dilakukan uji coba kepada 18 peserta didik kelas V. Hasil penilaian validasi dari ahli media memperoleh nilai presentase 96% yang dikategorikan sangat valid. Hasil penilaian validasi dari ahli materi memperoleh nilai presentase 98% yang dikategorikan sangat valid. Uji coba lapangan, hasil penilaian peserta didik terhadap media mendapatkan nilai presentase 96% yang dikategorikan sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media video pembelajaran sudah layak atau valid dan praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata Kunci : Video pembelajaran, Contextual Teaching LearningThis research aims to develop learning video media based on a contextual teaching and learning model on the water cycle for class V at SDN 129 Palembang and also aims to determine the validity and practicality of this media. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 3D + I model consisting of Define, Design, Development and Implementation. This research validated the material and media and carried out trials on 18 class IV students. The results of the validation assessment from media experts obtained a percentage value of 96% which was categorized as very valid. The results of the validation assessment from material experts obtained a percentage value of 98% which was categorized as very valid. Field trials, the results of students' assessment of the media obtained a percentage score of 96% which was categorized as very effective. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that learning video media is appropriate or valid and effective for use in the learning process.
