ANALISIS IMPLEMENTASI EUROPEAN GREEN DEAL OLEH PEMERINTAH ESTONIA DALAM MENCAPAI NEGARA PALING RAMAH LINGKUNGAN TAHUN 2024
This research aims to see how Estonia as one of the European Union member countries that joined in 2004, as a member Estonia has a high commitment to European Union policies and implements these policies at the national level, one of which is the European Green Deal policy, the purpose of this study is to see how the Estonian government implements the European Green Deal to achieve the status of the most environmentally friendly country by 2024, this study uses Ronald Mitchell's Regime Implementation Theory Estonian implementation of the European Green Deal can be seen from the resulting policy output, the outcome that occurs and the impact felt by Estonia after implementation. The results of the study showed the existence of several environmental policies in Estonia that reflect the European Green Deal, such as Estonia 2035, Estonia National Energy and Climate Plan 2030, National Development Plan for the Use of Oil Shale 2016-2030, initial changes produced by increased use of renewable energy, decreased use of oil shale, and termination of natural gas imports from Russia by switching to methane gas, The impact felt by Estonia itself is in the form of environmental impact where there is a decrease in carbon dioxide gas emissions, besides that there is also political impact where Estonia becomes a role model for other countries, as well as economic and social impact with high FDI income in the Estonian green sector and Estonian people who can live healthier lives with less harmful substances in the air.
