PERAN ACADEMIC GRIT TERHADAP ACADEMIC ADJUTSMENT PADA SISWA SMA KURIKULUM MERDEKA DI KOTA PRABUMULIH
The research aims to determine the role of academic grit on academic adjustment among high school students in the merdeka curriculum in Prabumulih. The hypothesis in this research is that is a role of academic grit on academic adjustment. The research was conducted using quantitative methods with a sample size of 433 high school students in the merdeka curriculum in Prabumulih who are currently aged between 14 and 18 years. The sampling technique used was quota sampling. The measuring instruments used are the academic adjustment scale which refers to the academic adjustment aspect of Baker dan Siryk (1984) and the academic grit scale which refers to the academic grit aspect of Clark dan Malecki (2019). Data analysis in this research was carried out using simple regression technique. The results of the analysis show that the R square academic grit value for academic adjustment is 0,618, the F value is 698,120 and the significance value is 0,000 (p < 0,05). This shows that academic grit has a significant role in the academic adjustment, thus the hypothesis proposed in this research can be accepted.
