MASALAH PENENTUAN LOKASI OPTIMAL UNIT EMERGENCY DI PALEMBANG DENGAN EVALUATION BASED ON DISTANCE FROM AVERAGE SOLUTION (EDAS) METHOD DAN PROFILE MATCHING (PM) METHOD
Determining the optimal location for emergency units in Palembang City is crucial in improving accessibility and the quality of healthcare services. This study employs two multi-criteria decision-making methods, namely Evaluation Based on Distance from Average Solution (EDAS) and Profile Matching (PM), to evaluate hospital alternatives based on criteria such as service level, number of specialists, travel time, and travel distance from each subdistrict. The data used is secondary data obtained from various sources, such as Google Maps, the Palembang City Central Bureau of Statistics, and online hospital information systems. The results of the study show that the EDAS method evaluates alternatives based on positive and negative distances to the average solution, while the PM method assesses profile compatibility based on gap values relative to ideal criteria. This study provides recommendations for the most optimal hospitals for each subdistrict in Palembang City. The results are expected to assist the community in identifying the most optimal emergency unit and support strategic decision-making in healthcare facility management.
