ANALISIS EFISIENSI PAKAN PADA BENIH IKAN KAKAP PUTIH (LATES CALCARIFER) DENGAN PEMBERIAN PAKAN MANDIRI DARI DEDAK PADI DI BALAI BESAR PERIKANAN BUDIDAYA LAUT (BBPBL) LAMPUNG
This study aims to analyze the feed efficiency of White Snapper (Lates calcarifer) by using homemade feed from rice bran as well as natural binder Gracilaria sp 5% and 10% and Ulva sp 5% and 10% as an alternative to CMC (Carboximethyl cellulose) as well as the comparison between self-feed and Gracilaria binder sp 10% and commercial feed (Hi Pro Vite) to support the growth rate of White Snapper. The research method uses a Complete Random Design (RAL) which is divided into 2 observations, namely binder comparison consisting of 5 treatments and 3 replicates, namely (a). CMC binder 5% (control), (b). Gracilaria sp 5%, (c). Gracilaria sp 10%, (d). Ulva sp 5%, (e). Ulva sp 10%. The second observation is that the feed comparison consists of 2 treatments and 3 replicates, namely (a). Independent feed from rice bran with Gracilaria sp 10% binder, (b). Commercial feed (Hi Pro Vite). The results showed that the best binder was Gracilaria 10% with a breaking speed of 209.96 minutes; a sinking speed of 0.169 cm/min; a pellet hardness of 6,154 gr; a feed stability of 80.83% and a moisture content of 8.29%. In addition, the best feed to support the growth rate of White Snapper is independent feed from rice bran with Gracilaria sp 10% binder, indicated by the RGR values of Length and weight which are 64.92% and 65.68%; SGR Length and weight are 1.78% and 1.91%; FCR is 1.07 and SR is 100%. Keywords: Feed efficiency, White Snapper, natural binder, Gracilaria sp, Ulva sp.
