PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN AUDIOVISUAL MATERI TEKS CERPEN MENGGUNAKAN APLIKASI DORATOON UNTUK SISWA KELAS VIII DI SMP NEGERI 21 PALEMBANG
This study aims to produce audiovisual learning media development products on short story text materials using the Doratoon application for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 21 Palembang. This study uses a research and development (R&D) research method with the Alessi and Trollip development research model which includes planning, product design, and development. Audiovisual learning media on short story text materials using the Doratoon application for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 21 Palembang were developed based on the results of teacher and student needs analysis. Based on the results of the needs analysis, audiovisual learning media products using the Doratoon application are needed in learning short story texts for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 21 Palembang. The next step is the product design stage (design) by collecting media items, making flowcharts and storyboards. Then, the development stage (development) by developing the initial product, alpha test (expert validation), and product revision. The expert validation test was carried out by three experts, namely media experts, material experts, and language experts. The results of the media validation test showed a percentage of 97.5% (very feasible), material validation 90% (very feasible), and language validation 80% (very feasible). Based on the results of the validation test by three experts on the audiovisual learning media of short story text material using the Doratoon application, it was declared very feasible to be used for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 21 Palembang.
