FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PENYEBAB MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDERS (MSDs) PADA PEKERJA PABRIK TAHU DI KECAMATAN ILIR BARAT I KOTA PALEMBANG
The complaints of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) were disorders of the muscular and skeletal systems that could cause pain, especially for workers who involved repetitive movement patterns and static working positions for long periods, such as workers in the tofu manufacturing industry. The tofu production process, which involved intensive physical activity, increased the risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) complaints. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the factors related to Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) among tofu factory workers in Ilir Barat 1 District, Palembang City. This research was a quantitative study using a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used simple random sampling, with a total sample of 57 people. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis. The research results showed that the variables of gender (p-value 0.297), work tenure (p-value 0.423), and physical workload (p-value 0.473) had no significant relationship with Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) complaints. However, the variables of age (p-value 0.000), work duration (p-value 0.000), and working posture (p-value 0.000) had a significant relationship with Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) complaints. It could be concluded that the factors related to Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) included age, work duration, and working posture. Tofu factory workers should have effective rest periods, take time for stretching, and receive socialization from the local government regarding the importance of maintaining a good working posture.
