SINTESIS DAN KARAKTERISASI MATERIAL LaxCu(1-x)MnO3 SEBAGAI PENYERAP GELOMBANG MIKRO PADA JANGKAUAN FREKUENSI C-BAND DENGAN METODE MILLING
Electromagnetic radiation due to the development of telecommunication technology can interfere with electronic devices, so microwave-absorbing materials are a potential solution. This study synthesized and characterized LaxCu(1-x)MnO3 as a microwave absorber in the C-band frequency using a mechanical milling method with variations x = 0, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1.0. Characterization using XRD, SEM, and VNA showed that the synthesized material had a multiphase structure with impurity due to Cu²⁺ substitution by La³⁺. SEM revealed non-uniform morphology with significant agglomeration, whereas VNA testing showed that absorption ability depends on x. Samples with x = 0 have the highest reflection loss of -7.06 dB at 6.05 GHz with an efficiency of 80.34%. These results show that La doping affects the structure and absorption effectiveness, with optimal performance at x = 0, making LaxCu(1-x)MnO3 a potential candidate as a microwave absorbing material.
