ANALISIS SPASIAL TUBERKULOSIS PARU ANAK BERDASARKAN FAKTOR LINGKUNGAN DI KOTA PALEMBANG TAHUN 2021-2023
Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis and can affect all age groups, including children. Palembang City is one of the areas with relatively high cases of pediatric tuberculosis from year to year and has been the area with the most cases of pediatric pulmonary TB in South Sumatra Province over the past few years, with the highest number of cases reaching 1,089 cases. This study aims to determine the global and local spatial autocorrelation between independent variables and cases of pediatric pulmonary TB in Palembang City in 2021-2023. This research used an ecological study design with a spatial analysis approach. The unit of analysis used was all sub-districts in Palembang City with a total of 18 sub-districts. Spatial analysis was conducted using GeoDa software with Morans's Index and Local Indicators of Spatial Analysis (LISA) methods and queen contiguity weighting. The results of this study found that high cases tend to be in the same region during 2021 - 2023. The results of the Global Moran's I bivariate analysis showed that the resulting distribution pattern tended to be clustered, although no global spatial autocorrelation was found between population density, coverage of healthy homes, coverage of homes with clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS), number of poor people, number of health facilities, and area altitude with pediatric pulmonary TB cases in Palembang City in 2021-2023. Meanwhile, the results of local spatial analysis show that some areas have spatial autocorrelation and hotspot areas are identified in Ilir Timur I and Alang-Alang Lebar sub-districts. The government needs to emphasize its commitment to TB elimination through improving access and quality of services, utilizing the latest technology and research results related to TB, and increasing cross-sectoral cooperation between health agencies, government and local communities to work together.
