ANALISIS KANDUNGAN NANOSILIKA BERBAHAN DASAR LIMBAH ABU CANGKANG SAWIT MENGGUNAKAN METODE PRESIPITASI DENGAN VARIASI WAKTU PENGERINGAN
Nanosilica is a nano-sized silica material ranging from 1 to 100 nm in size and serves to enhance the compressive strength of concrete. Nanosilica can be produced through a synthesis process from kaolin. The materials used in this study include palm kernel shell ash waste and a magnetic stirrer as the mixing tool. This study employed drying times of 6 hours, 12 hours, and 24 hours. In this study, microstructural testing was used to analyze the extraction results, including X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). From the XRD test results, it can be concluded that the longer the drying time, the more the amorphous structure begins to transform into a crystalline structure. From the XRF and SEM test results, it can be concluded that the 12-hour drying time variation produced the highest silica content of ± 39.606%, with a crystal size of 0.89756 nm, 0.897% crystalline, and 82.97% amorphous.
