Background: Mental disorders affect the way a person thinks, feels, and behaves, as well as social interactions and daily life. One of the serious is schizophrenia. An indicator of schizophrenia is hallucinations, which are sensory experiences without real stimulation from the environment. Finger dhikr therapy is a non-pharmacological therapy used by schizophrenia patients with hallucination disorders to control hallucinations by means of Islamic meditation involving mentioning and praising the name of Allah by counting prayer beads on the joints of the fingers. Objective: To apply dhikr therapy with fingers in psychiatric nursing care, patients with sensory perception disorders: auditory hallucinations in the Bang Room of Ernaldi Bahar Hospital, South Sumatra Province. Method: This scientific paper uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach to 3 clients with sensory perception disorders: auditory hallucinations who were given finger dhikr therapy. Results: After implementing general nursing therapy with Implementation Strategy 1-4 and dhikr therapy with fingers, three patients experienced a decrease in scores on the Auditory Hallucination Rating Scale (AHRS). Mr. F initially had a score of 22, reduced to 8 and now in the mild hallucination category. Mr. A initially had a score of 28, decreased to 10 after therapy. Mr. R also showed a significant decrease from a score of 26 to 6 after the intervention. Discussion: Dhikr therapy with fingers is used as therapy after general therapy has been carried out and can be done when the patient's hallucinations appear because dhikr therapy can make patients calmer, more independent, and have better life expectancy and improve social relationships and daily life functions.
