GAMBARAN SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
This study aims to determine to the description of subjective well-being in Sriwijaya University students. The hypothesisin this study is that there is a description of subjective well being in Sriwijaya University students. The respondents in this study were 300 students at Sriwijaya University and Try out with 55 students. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, non-probality sampling. The measuring instrument used was the Student Subjevctive Well Being Scale by Utami (2010) which refers to the Subjective Well-Being Scale by Diener. The data analysis of this study used validity and realibity techniques, using the alpha Cronbach (α) from each sub-dimension of subjective well being. The results of the analysis showed α positive effect is 0.931, α negative affect is 0.941, and α life satisfaction is 0.912. The level of subjective well-being of Sriwijaya University students when viewed from positive affect is in the high category, negative affect and life satisfaction are in the low category.
