Currently, the number of people with cancer continues to increase. The province of South Sumatra requires a provincial-scale disease as a centerfor care andfacilities for cancer that meet appropriate care standards. Based on data from the Indonesian Cancer Foundation (YKI) in 2007, about 5.7% of all age deaths were caused by malignant cancer. In Indonesia the average number of tumors / cancer is 4.3 per 1000 population. Cancer is the number 7 cause of death (5.7%) after stroke, TB, hypertension, injury, perinatal, and DM. Apart from tliese data the people of Palembang city who suffer from cancer also perform treatment abroad due to satisfaction factor of Service and completeness offacility. The special hospital ofSouth Sumatera province provides the concept of eco-friendly. The proposed eco-friendly concept of building design involves the application of green open areas in buildings and surrounding buildings, the selection of building materials that are resistant to weather conditions, the application of natural opening openings as natural lighting and natural carriage, as well as creating barrier-free buildings. Eco-friendly concepts combined with hospitals as health facilities can support the healing activities and have a positive impact on the surrounding area.
