The existence of art galleries in the preservation of culture still has shortcomings i n management and organizational structure. The use of a building which does not correspond to the initial function leads to a lack of facilities. There is a need in wedding to the tourism demanded that the dancers do not just get practice but also based on the strong of theory, this is what distinguishes the function of the studio with a Padepokan, and so we need a facility to accommodate activities such as arts, especially dance, that is Padepokan Dance of Art in Palembang. Padepokan was originating from Java, generally pendopo-pendopo is a development of existing buildings nearby so it can preserve local elements that have been formed, in architecture known as Neo Vemacular Architecture. Which is the method used to designing is a glass box (glass box) assisted with the qualitative case study method as the method of collecting data required, through observation, interviews and document review.
