The number of cinema in Indonesia over time is increasing.Currently in the city of Palembang almost every shopping centers already have cinema facilities.However, most cinemas in the city of Palembang only come as a support facility in shopping center. This is what trigger the crowd in the cinema to increase, as it goes with the interest of people in Palembang who are still enthusiastic, especially among the ratio age of 20-24 years old. From the above discourse, it can be concluded that the cinema center is still needed separate from the shopping center for the middle to high raised population. Design concept applied to the cinema i s to process the facade o f buildings and spaces to be the center of attention of visitors. The method applied in the design of this cinema building is the modem architecture of functionalism.
