Cloth is primer factor for human. Indonesia is one of a country that has biggest ornamental cloth varieties in the world, traditional pattem as well as modem pattem. Diverse kind of various materials, techniques processing, color, motives and composition are Indonesian own characteristics that must be preserved. In 2014 - 2018 strategic plan of Palembang Cultural and Tourism Department, have goals and objectives to improve quality resources and improve domestic and global visitor. Palembang in the last couple years, hosted intemational toumaments. Therefore, need a space to accommodate these activities in form of Western Nusantara Cloth Gallery in Palembang that reflect the culture of westem Nusantara cloth into building to optimize the space connection that compatible with activities in gallery facilities.
