Batam is a city with the largest number of Muslims, which is around 74.25% of the total population. The large number has an impact on the need for the place where can accommodate various activities of Islamic development and culture in the city of Batam. Batam Islamic Center is designed as a solution of the existing constraints to meet the needs of Islamic activities in Batam, both vertical and horizontal activities. Various public facilities will be provided at the Batam Islamic Center area, where each of them will be integrated tq support the activities. In the designing, it will utilize the natural potential to present a building design able to utilize and adapt to the nature to meet the building needs and minimize the Burk effect produced ffom the nature and apply Islamic values into the design.
