This study aims to prove the effect of self-efficacy of learning independence of Sriwijaya University Economic Education students. The study used a quantitative approach with associative research methods. The population in the study is economic education students of Sriwijaya University from the class of 2020 to 2022 totaling 246 students. Sampling using the Proportionate Strarified Random Sampling method is a technique used if the population has members or elements that are not homogeneous and proportionally stratified, so that the total sample is 152 students. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and interviews. Test the validity of the questionnaire instrument using the Product moment and Reliability formulas using Alpha Cronbach. The results showed that the self-efficacy data obtained were categorized as good with a percentage result of 77.5% and learning independence data was categorized as good with a percentage result of 78.1%. Data analysis using t-test shows tcount = > t14,27 table = 1.65508 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that there is an influence of self-efficacy on the learning independence of Sriwijaya University Economic Education students. It is recommended for students to increase confidence by being more confident during the learning process so that it will form a willingness to learn independently. Then, it is recommended for further researchers to be able to condense questionnaire statements so that respondents are more focused on answering existing statements, and can take one particular course that characterizes the study program to be used as a research sample, so that can use observation techniques to see directly the independence of student learning.
