This research is a development study that applies Dick and Carey's theory using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. However, this study only implemented three stages: analysis, design, and development (ADD). The objectives of this study are to (1) describe the needs analysis of teachers and the characteristics of students in using electronic comic learning media based on Lubuklinggau folklore via Canva for grade X students at MAN 1 Kota Lubuklinggau, (2) design the electronic comic learning media for folklore lessons, and (3) describe the validation results of the electronic comic learning media based on Lubuklinggau folklore using Canva. The research data includes qualitative and quantitative data collected through interviews, need analysis questionnaires, and expert validation sheets. The results of the media development were validated in three main aspects. Media validation received a score of 70%, material validation scored 92.85%, and language validation scored 84.09%. Based on these results, the learning media was deemed suitable for use in folklore lessons. This development is expected to create a more interactive, engaging, and effective learning process while preserving local culture through the integration of modern technology
