PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk is one of the State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in the field of tin mines located in the province of Bangka Belitung. Cutter Suction Stripping using a cutter to cut the layer of soil and then pump to suck soil and dispose of land that has been excavated. Stripping Cutter Suction Dredger combination has optimum soil excavation removal rate of 1050 m3 / h, so the Cutter Suction Dredger Stripping can help in increasing the productivity of the soil removal. Mining using a ship combination of better than mining ship without combinations. Combination vessel can also affect the cost of the mining operation. The total cost required for mining use a combination of the ship in a more efficient work plan of Rp. Rp 7.045.313.574,34. In other words, be saving about 37% of the cost of the mining operation without the combination.
