This study aims to describe the characteristics of children aged 5-6 years with hyperactivity disorder at Cipta Kreatif Bangsa Kindergarten Palembang. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with direct observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The research subject was a boy with the initials RSY who showed symptoms of a hyperactive child or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The results of the study identified several main characteristics, namely: hyperactivity, impaired attention and concentration, impulsivity, rigid fine motor, poor tactile sensitivity, Tourette's Syndrome and Sometimes can be quiet (can concentrate). The findings are expected to help teachers and parents understand the behavior of children with ADHD and design appropriate learning strategies to support children's development.
