PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA INFOGRAFIS INTERAKTIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS PADA MATA PELAJARAN PAI SMP IT DARUSSALAM LAHAT
This study aims to develop interactive infographic-based learning media using a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach to enhance students' religious character. The background of this research is the low engagement and understanding of students regarding Islamic Religious Education (PAI) material at SMP IT Darussalam, caused by conventional audio-based teaching methods that are less appealing and the lack of variety in learning media. Preliminary studies showed that 50% of students highly require interactive learning media, while 37% need more structured media to understand abstract concepts such as religious values. The ADDIE development model, modified with Tessmer's formative evaluation, was employed in this study. Evaluations were conducted through expert validation, one-to-one testing, small group testing, and field testing. The research subjects were Grade VIII students at SMP IT Darussalam. Validation by subject matter, media, and language experts resulted in average scores of 93%, 97%, and 94%, respectively, all of which fall into the "highly valid" category. Practicality tests through one-to-one and small group evaluations achieved an average score of 89%, indicating that the media is highly practical. The effectiveness of the media is evidenced by the improvement in students' pretest scores from 60.2 to 85.4 in the posttest, with an N-Gain increase of 0.70. This media is designed to capture students' attention by integrating visual, interactive elements and relevant material. In conclusion, this interactive infographic-based learning media is highly valid, practical, and effective in improving students' understanding of religious values.
