Salted fish production in Kampung Siabang, Seberang Ulu 1 District, Palembang City, plays a significant role in the local economy. This research aims to describe the salted fish processing procedures and analyze suitable strategies for production development. The study was conducted using a survey method with SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) to identify internal and external factors affecting production development. The sampling method employed in this research was a census or total sampling method. The data used in this study consisted of primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected directly from respondents, while secondary data were obtained from journals, books, articles, and other sources. The salted fish processing in Kampung Siabang begins with the arrival of raw materials purchased from fishermen. These raw materials are transported to the production site and cleaned to remove impurities. The next step is salting, which takes place overnight. In the morning, the salted fish is sun-dried, with the process lasting until around 2 PM if weather conditions are favorable. Once dried, the fish is packed into 10 kg cartons based on type and sold to wholesalers at 10 Ulu Market. The development strategy for salted fish production in Kampung Siabang, Seberang Ulu 1, Palembang City, as analyzed through the internal and external matrix, falls into quadrant I, indicating an aggressive strategy. This position reflects a strong production state capable of leveraging strengths and opportunities. The Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) matrix shows a total score of 3.35, highlighting internal strengths such as high quality raw materials (0.570) and assured product quality (0.570). However, weaknesses include reliance on favorable weather conditions (0.065) and dependence on fishermen's catches (0.065)
