Every company must have certain programs that aim to optimize cost efficiency. The objectives of this activity are 1) Analyze the production management that applies at PT Perkebunan Nusantara I Regional 7 Kebun Musilandas, 2) Analyze production management efficiency in improving cost efficiency at PT Perkebunan Nusantara I Regional 7 Kebun Musilandas. This research was carried out at PT Perkebunan Nusantara I Regional 7 Kebun Musilandas. The company is located on the Palembang-Betung KM Highway. 20 Air Batu Village, Sembawa District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. The research approach used by the researcher is a qualitative approach. Qualitative research intends to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by the research subject by using the type of descriptive research. the results of this study include; 1) there are several human resource development programs implemented by the company such as performance evaluation, employee quality improvement, and learning. 2) there are several programs in streamlining raw material procurement costs such as latex quality control and fuel efficiency. 3) there are several production factor efficiency programs, namely water efficiency, energy, firewood, and chemicals. 4) based on the calculation results, all existing programs have a positive effect on production cost efficiency.
