ANALISIS FAKTOR PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN EVAKUASI BENCANA KEBAKARAN DI KELURAHAN KARANG ANYAR KECAMATAN GANDUS KOTA PALEMBANG
The fire disaster in Karang Anyar Sub-District, Gandus District, Palembang, which destroyed 62 houses and forced the eviction of 84 heads of families was one of the worst in 2018-2020. It is something that could happen again if the disaster occurs again. Evacuation actions are carried out as part of disaster management’s Emergency Response Plan which is implemented to reduce disasters. The purpose of the study was to look into the factors that influence the residents’ decisions about fire disaster evacuation action in Karang Anyar Sub-District, Gandus District. It was an observational analytical study with cross sectional design and questionnaires. The study sample size was 161 heads of families. Environmental Cues, Social Cues, Threat Perception, Protective Action and Stakeholder, Protective Actions Decision Making, and Situational Impediments and Facilitators with Evacuation Decision-Making There was a statistically significant correltion between Evacuation Decision-Making. Age, Gender, Education, Length of Stay, House Ownership, Family Members, Vehicle Ownership and Past Hazard Experience had no statistically significant correlation with Evacuation Decision-Making. Conclusions. Perceptions of Stakeholders and Protective Actions Decision-Making were the most influential factors in Evacuation decision-making for fire disaster. When dealing with the future fire disasters, Stakeholders should provide information about the threats and risks of fire disasters and their effects on individual safety, property damage and community functions.
