ANALISIS SORPTIVITY LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE DENGAN VARIASI RASIO SEMEN DAN GLASS POWDER
Lightweight concrete is a type of concrete that can handle optimal design because cost, time, and quality are always the main concerns in construction. Foam concrete is one type of lightweight concrete that can reduce construction costs through waste minimization The materials used in this research are cement, glass powder, foam agent, and water. This research uses glass powder as a substitute for cement with replacement ratio of 20% and 30% by weight of cement with water cement ratio 0.4 and foam and cement paste ratio of 0.35: 0.65. The results of the test showed that the maximum sorptivity value occurred in the specimen with a 20% glass powder ratio of 0.0023 mm/s1/2, while the minimum sorptivity result occurred in the specimen with a 30% ratio of 0.0021 mm/s1/2. The sorptivity value is directly proportional to the setting time, slump flow, and specific gravity, while the compressive strength value has an inversely proportional relationship. The specimen with 20% glass powder ratio obtained the highest result in setting time test with initial setting time and final setting time for 227 minutes and 482 minutes. The slump flow test obtained a flow diameter of 21.4 cm with a workability of 69.88%. This shows that the specimen with 20% glass powder ratio has maximum sorptivity obtained the largest percentage of workability compared to other ratios. Besides, the specific gravity of the 20% glass powder ratio specimens on the 1st and 28th days getting values of 1457.3 kg/m3 and 1565.3 kg/m3 with a minimum compressive strength value of 4.37 MPa.
