ISOLASI DAN IDENTIFIKASI SENYAWA METABOLIT SEKUNDER DARI FRAKSI ETIL ASETAT BUAH TEMBESU (FAGRAEA FRAGRANS ROXB.)
Tembesu (Fagraea fragrans Roxb.) is a type of plant that has high economic value which is often found in the Southern Sumatra region and comes from the Gentianaceae family. The F. fragrans plant has been reported to have various activities such as antibacterial, antioxidant, antifungal, anticancer, anti-inflammatory and antimalarial. This research aims to isolate and identify secondary metabolite compounds from the ethyl acetate fraction of F. Fragrans fruit. The process of purifying secondary metabolite compounds is carried out by extraction (maceration), fractionation, separation and purification. Maceration was carried out using distilled methanol solvent, fractionation was carried out using n-hexane solvent and continued with ethyl acetate solvent. Separation and purification were carried out using the fast column chromatography (KKC) method. The isolated compound obtained was 10.0 mg in the form of white crystals having Rf 0.2 (n-hexane: ethyl acetate 9:1), Rf 0.35 (n-hexane: acetone 8:2), and Rf 0.925 (n-hexane : acetone 7:3). The isolated compounds were analyzed using 13C-NMR, 1H-NMR and DEPT. The elucidation results show that this compound belongs to the triterpenoid group, a terpenoid derivative in the form of oleanoic acid.
