PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA KOMIK BERBASIS BUDAYA LAHAT MENGGUNAKAN APLIKASI CANVA UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN DI KELAS II SEKOLAH DASAR
This study aims to produce a comic-based learning media rooted in Lahat culture using Canva for thematic learning in second-grade elementary school students. This media integrates local cultural values, such as the traditional game "Cak Bikak," to enhance students' learning interest and comprehension of the material. The study employs the Alessi and Trollip development model, encompassing planning, design, and development stages. The research subjects are second-grade students of SDN 9 Pseksu, while the object of the study is the comic-based learning media rooted in Lahat culture. Validation results from experts indicate a very good level of validity, with an average score of 81.4%. Practicality tests yield an average score of 92.5%, showing that the media is easy to use and relevant to support learning. The media's effectiveness was tested through pretest and posttest assessments, showing an increase in students' average scores from 45,5 to 94,17, resulting in an N-Gain of 0.78, categorized as moderate. This media has proven to be effective in improving students' learning outcomes while contributing to the preservation of local culture by integrating Lahat cultural values into learning. The use of Canva simplifies the design of interactive and engaging media. This research significantly contributes to educational innovation based on local wisdom, enhancing the quality of learning and strengthening students' cultural identity .
