Waste is still an environmental issue worldwide. Waste separation from the source have a major contribution to an effective waste management. The lack of role of households in sorting their waste affects the behavior in separating organic and inorganic waste. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the community behavior in implementing the household’s organic and inorganic waste sorting in Palembang City. This research was quantitative using a cross sectional design using with 118 respondents who were selected by multistage sampling technique. Data were analyzed univariately (to analyze the frequency of variables), bivariately (to analyze the relationship between variables) using the Chi Square test, and multivariately using multiple logistic regression tests with prediction model The bivariate analysis showed there is a relationship between attitude (
