KEMAMPUAN LITERASI MATEMATIKA SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN PMRI KONTEKS SITUASI LASKAR PELANGI
This study aims to describe students' mathematical literacy skills in mathematics learning using PMRI in the context of Laskar Pelangi situations. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII.4 at MTs Negeri 1 Ogan Ilir. This type of research is descriptive qualitative consisting of 3 stages, namely observation, testing, and interviews. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it shows that students are able to demonstrate various aspects of mathematical literacy skills, such as communication in conveying mathematical ideas verbally and in writing 78.12%, mathematization by changing real-world problems into mathematical models 59.3%, and 53% of students are able to demonstrate components using language, operations, symbols, formal and technical. The use of the Laskar Pelangi context also increases students' motivation in learning mathematics because this context has cultural, social, and emotional values that are close to students' lives. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the mathematical literacy skills of class VIII.4 students at MTs Negeri 1 Ogan Ilir are in the low category with 56.25%
