INVENTARISASI ARTHROPODA PADA Tagetes erecta DI PERKEBUNAN AREN (Arenga pinnata) DI DESA ULAK SEGELUNG, KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR, SUMATERA SELATAN
Refugia is a container for protection for atropods, flowering plants can produce nectar and pollen, which are food sources for predatory atropods, adult parasitoids and especially pollinators. Planting refugia is one form of conservation activity efforts in maintaining agroecosystems in agriculture. Marigolds function as microhabitats for several types of atropods such as predators, natural enemies and pollinators. This study aims to determine the effect of marigold refugia plants on increasing the diversity of atrhopods on palm plants and to see the effect and effectiveness of the traps used and compare the diversity index with previous research. The method used in this study was purposive random sampling by making 7 plots with each plot containing 5 polybags of refugia plants. The diversity index of arthropods found around Tegetes erecta refugia plants showed a result of 1.81, this shows that the addition of Tegetes erecta refugia does not provide an increase in arthropod diversity in sugar palm plantations, Ulak Segelung, South Sumatra. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the most effective trap used to capture arthropods in Aren Plantation is Pit Fall Trap.
