This research was titled “Representation of the Figure of a members of the House of Representatives in the ‘DPR’ Musical Drama”. This research aims to find out the representation of the figure of a members of the House of Representatives in the musical drama entitled “DPR” by SkinnyIndonesian24 using the triangle of meaning semiotics theory stated by Charles Sanders Peirce. The research method used in this study was a qualitative research method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Based on the research that has been conducted, the researcher concluded that there was a representation of the figure of a members of the House of Representatives displayed in the four acts of the “DPR” musical drama. The figure of a members of the House of Representatives in this musical drama is represented through the contrast between the ideal members and the reality that occurs through satire that criticises the behaviour, lifestyle, and performance of the members. The data that identified in this analysis can help readers to understanding the reality and dynamics of politics in the parliamentary environment that conveyed through existing signs and how the figure of a members of the House of Representatives is represented through the musical drama.
