Sustainable development is linked to the social and economic order between generations, emphasizing the efficient utilization of recourse and environmental preservation. Infrastructure development in Indonesia is a crucial aspect in supporting economic growth and fulfilling the community’s rights. The approaching is the implementation of the green building concept, which is regulated in the Permen PUPR No. 21 of 202. This regulation provides evaluating method for buildings based on the principles of energy and water efficiency, and environmental management. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of green building principles at Siti Fatimah Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Palembang City, considering the increasing population and the shrinking green open spaces. The evaluation used a simulation of assessment based on the criteria of Permen PUPR No. 21 of 2021 to determine if the RSUD building has met the green building standards. This evaluation is to provide an overview of the building’s sustainability level and support environmentally friendly healthcare facilities planning. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the Siti Fatimah RSUD project in Palembang City. The results of the research indicate that Siti Fatimah RSUD building obtained a total score of 146, equivalent to a percentage of 88%. These results show that Siti Fatimah RSUD has met most of the criteria of green building assessment with a high percentage, categirizing the Siti Fatimah RSUD building in the “BGH Utama” classification.
