The implementation of an Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) is very important in construction projects to minimize the risk of work accidents and create a safe and productive work environment. This study aims to analyze the level of implementation of SMK3 and identify strategies to improve occupational safety in the construction project of the Lung Building of Siti Fatimah Hospital. The research was conducted with a descriptive quantitative approach using a data collection method in the form of distributing questionnaires to 15 respondents consisting of contractors and consultant management and supported by direct observation and literature studies. Data analysis was carried out using the help of Microsoft Excel and SPSS to test the validity and realism and calculate the score of the implementation of SMK3 and its improvement strategy. The results of the study showed that the implementation rate of SMK3 reached 85.63%, which was included in the satisfactory category and entitled to the title of golden flag according to Government Regulation No.50 of 2012. Although most of the elements have been well implemented, the monitoring and evaluation aspects still show lower values than the others. Suggested improvement strategies include regular training, strengthening supervision, and improving documentation and socialization of work procedures. It is hoped that the results of this research can be a reference for similar projects in strengthening the implementation of SMK3 as a whole.
