IMPLIKASI PERNIKAHAN ASIMILASI ORANG TUA DALAM PENGASUHAN ANAK USIA DINI DI DESA SUMBER SARI KABUPATEN MUSI BANYUASIN
This study aims to determine the implication of assimilation marriage on different ethnic groups in Sumber Sari Village, Musi Banyuasin Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation with data analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The sample of this study amounted to 12 informants consisting of 1 Village Head and 11 parents with the criteria of inter-ethnic marriage and having children aged 1-6 years based on purposive random sampling. The different ethnic groups come from 3 tribes, namely the Javanese, Sundanese and Malay tribes. Based on the results of the analysis of research data from 4 indicators, namely family culture, socio-economic, experience in raising children and education taken by parents, parents no longer introduce hereditary culture or traditional arts originating from both parents of each different tribe. Parents use a combination of parenting patterns based on democratic, permissive and authoritarian parenting patterns, in a culture that still upholds the manners taught by their previous parents.
