PENGARUH MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF BERBASIS PERMAINAN EDUKASI MONOPOLI TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI DI KELAS X MA MUQIMUS SUNNAH PALEMBANG
In today's education era, the main challenge faced by many schools is the lack of student learning motivation, especially in subjects that are considered difficult such as Economics. At MA Muqimus Sunnah Palembang, many students feel less interested in Economics subject matter, which affects their learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of using interactive learning media based on monopoly educational games on student learning motivation in Economics subjects for class X at MA Muqimus Sunnah Palembang. The method used in this study was pre-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design and a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 40 students selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in student learning motivation after using monopoly media. This is indicated by the average motivation before treatment of 64% which increased to 86% after treatment. The results of the t-test also showed that t count (2.856) > t table (1.686), which means that there is a significant effect of monopoly media on learning motivation. Thus, it can be concluded that monopoly game-based learning media is effective in increasing students' learning motivation at MA Muqimus Sunnah Palembang.
