Shopping is a place thatbecame the center of commercial activity in form of trade and rent area for some people or organization of goods and trade. Based on RDTRK musi banyuasin, the govemment already planned to develop this. One of the method is build a shopping center. Shopping center ideally not only serve as a platform to conduct trading acts but also ofifers other fimction, such as entertainmery and creation. Based on RDTRK, Balai Agung district of Sekayu is located on the river side which could be developed as center of business, therefore, it iswell suited for the shopping center to take place. The design method that will be apply in this planning is waterfront area (river, beach, or lake). In addition, several stages of analysis are used, as well as the formulation of applied concept in riverside shopping center.
