PENGARUH PARAMETER PEMESINAN TERHADAP KEAUSAN PAHAT PADA PROSES FREIS
Milling machining process is the process of slicing the workpiece with the cutting lool lo cut plural rolaling eye. In the metal cutting process, friction between the workpiece with a chisel will produce heat, so the temperature chisel chisel especially active field will be very high. This will result in tool wear so that product qualily will decline, reducing tool wear rate is usually given coolanl that serves to control the temperature and lubrication during cutting. The purpose of this study was to test the tool wear big High Speed Steel (HSS) that occurs as a result of the inlluence of machining parameters. In this study conducted at the end miling low alloy Steel material (low carbon vanadium) using the HSS-diameter of 16 mm. The study design will vary two independent variables that motion meal per tooth and cutting speed, with a variable response in the form chisel edge wear and tool Iife. The results showed that the end milling process using a variation of the cutting speed is generated when cutting show increased with the addition of the value of cutting speed, compared with the speed variations generated eating cutting time decreased with increasing of the value of the speed of eating. Cutting the value of the parameter greatest tool life is the cutting speed (Vc) =19.90 m / min, the motion meal per tooth (fz) = 0.0095 mm / min, with a time tc = 14.33 min and the mean average wear of 0.2866 mm, while the value of the smaliest tool life is the cutting speed (Vc) = 28.76 m / min, the motion meal per tooth (fz) = 0.0533 mm / min with a time tc = 0,71 and the average wear of 0.2819 mm.
