KINERJA RUMAH PENYIMPANAN BENDA SITAAN NEGARA KELAS 1 KOTA PALEMBANG DALAM MENANGANI ASET MILIK NEGARA
The State Confiscated Goods Storage House (RUPBASAN) Class I Palembang plays a strategic role in managing confiscated and forfeited state assets. This study aims to evaluate RUPBASAN’s performance based on five organizational performance dimensions: productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility, and accountability. A qualitative descriptive method was used, with data collected through observation, documentation of Form 14A, and in-depth interviews with employees and related agencies. The results indicate that the management of confiscated goods has been conducted according to procedures, with adequate productivity and service quality. However, challenges remain in responsiveness to the dynamic volume of goods, technical capacity limitations, and suboptimal integration of information systems between agencies. Furthermore, insufficient routine training affects employee responsibility, while accountability needs strengthening through regular audits and improved data transparency. Enhancing inter-agency synergy, increasing human resource capacity, and developing integrated information technology systems are strategic recommendations to improve the effectiveness of managing confiscated and forfeited state assets in the future.
